Katatori
Nikkyo - omote
Variation 1, Angle 1
In this version of
Katatori Nikkyo, the attacker grabs the victim's right lapel, the nage
counters grabbing the hand of the attacker - stepping back moving slightly off center towards the
left. Her left hand can choose to strike the attacker's face, but drops
as she slides back. The attacker is off-balance. Turning her hips
counter-clockwise towards him, her shoulder follow suit aiding her to
pull the arm off her shoulder. She uses nikkyo upon the wrist, and
returns the attacker's arm to his one-point with a downwards arc
(through-motion), as her
weight shifts and and she steps into break the balance of his stance.
She then can bring him
down and pin him with two traditional sit-down pins.
