Yokomenuchi
Iriminage
Var. 1, Angle 2
Yokomenuchi Iriminage, in
this second graphic, first version, is characterized by the use of ude
furi undo to enter the attacker's area. Even though, the
entrance initially being used is irimi, and followed up
with a tenkan, we oftentimes refer to this entrance in this particular
technique as: irimi-tenkan.
The nage's arms swing
freely with the movement and momentum of the hips, as she enters her
attacker's attack circle. Moving and leading the uke's strike around
and downward, she takes him off balance.

Yokomenuchi Iriminage
Var. 1, Angle 2
C. Matrasko (nage), James Loeser (uke)
She enters in once again -
making herself the center and leads the uke in a downward spiral
around her. Continuing, she drops her hips, then redirects his KI back
onto his center - straight to the mat. His balance is gone and he
takes the fall.
Please be patient. Because of its
animated content - the graphic below will take time to download through your
